Hydrangea quercifolia Snow Queen

Height: 0,5–0,6 m

Hydrangea Snow Queen is a variety of oakleaf hydrangea that grows to about 1.5-1.8 m in height and 1.5 m in width. Its leaves are similar to oak leaves but much larger, deeply lobed and dark green. The autumn leaf color is bronze, later turning burgundy, which makes a wonderful autumn sight. Its flower clusters are large, at first white and then gradually turning pink. It starts flowering in June. It prefers partial shade or part sun. It does not like direct sun, as its leaves will scorch. Well-structured, nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil is ideal for it. It can be planted as a standalone plant in larger gardens, parks, or in combination with other plants.
